Biodegradable : Photo biodegradable polymer
The Biodegradable credit cards is a charging card that can
be converted to soil, carbon dioxide ( CO2) and bio-pile over a meter using
micro-organisms and bio degradation in this physical process. And as a plastic's
biodegradability rests with the polymer's chemical properties, and not the
origins of the biodegradable credit card from feed stock may be either Eco- or
crude-based.
The length of the bio degradation process is highly dependent
on environment al parametric quantity such as humidity and temperature, which
is why claiming that a plastic is 'biodegradable' without any further context
(i.e., in what time frame and under what environmental atmospheric condition )
is misleading. Compo stable charge plate are a subset of biodegradable charge
plate , defined by the standard conditions and time frame under which they will
biodegrade.
All compost able
plastics are biodegradable, but not all biodegradable plastics would be
considered compo-stable.
Compo-stable plastics
Compo-stable plastics are those plastics which have been
tested and certified by a third party to adhere to international standards such
as ASTM D6400 in U.S. for bio-degradation in an industrial composting facility
environment.
Compo-stable plastics will disintegrate within twelve headroom and biodegrade at least 90% within 180 days in a municipal or
industrial composting facility. Approximately 10% of solid material will be left-field field at the end of the six-month-long process in the form of
valuable compost, or biomass and water.
Leftover Compost
Some standards also ensure that the leftover compost will
be free of toxin , so the compost will not cause harm when the facility sells
it for gardening or agricultural lotion . Oxo-degradable plastics are not
biodegradable plastic, but rather a conventional plastic mixed with an additive
will quickly shred into smaller and smaller pieces, called micro-plastics, but
don’t break down at the molecular or polymer level like biodegradable and compo stable plastics. The resulting micro-plastics are left in the environment.
